6G-RUPA explained: a video series
The first video of a series on 6G-RUPA is out: a ten-minute introduction to what it changes in the user plane, and why.
We’re starting a video series on 6G-RUPA. The first one is a ten-minute introduction for anyone with a technical background, networking or not. It covers four ideas: today’s 5G user plane is a special case of a more general pattern, every layer can be tuned to its own scope, forwarding state follows the network instead of its users, and a network built this way can keep evolving.
Watch it on the Learn page, where the next videos will appear: inside a national operator, what happens when you move, satellites in orbit, and the prototype running on real machines.
